-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
-½ cup drink wholesome vanilla protein powder
-1/4 cup milk
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-8 slices whole wheat bread
In a blender, combine all of the ingredients except for the bread. Process the mixture and pour it into a shallow bowl. Dunk the bread into the batter and soak each side for 1-2 minutes. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and grease with cooking spray. Fry the slices until golden brown (about 2 minutes per side). Serve with fruit and maple syrup or nut butter.
