Where are the Nutrition Facts?
The Nutrition Facts for a particular product can be found on that product’s page. The Nutrition Facts panel is one of the thumbnail images. It is also linked in the short description.
What is the expiration date?
Our products are good for 24 months from the printed date.
Protein powder vs meal replacement?
The difference between protein powders and meal replacements is the nutrition content. Protein powders tend to be high in protein, and low in everything else. Meal replacements have more fats, carbs, and other nutrients because they are intended to replace the nutritional value of a meal.
Where is it made?
Our products are handmade in Plymouth, Massachusetts in a GMP-Certified facility inspected by the US Food and Drug Administration and Massachusetts Board of Health.
What are the ingredients?
The ONLY ingredients that we use are those listed on the front of the package. Refer to the MY INGREDIENTS page for more information.
Where are the ingredients from?
We source ingredients from around the world, but the main ingredients – egg whites and almonds – come from US farms.
Where is the scoop?
We do not include scoops to reduce waste. We have many repeat customers, so including a scoop with every order would be wasteful.
Is your facility nut-free?
No, our facility is not nut-free. We cannot guarantee that our products are safe for someone with a serious nut allergy.
Are the eggs pasteurized?
Yes, the eggs are pasteurized.
Are the eggs cage-free?
No, the eggs are not cage-free. There are 3 types of eggs: conventional cage, cage-free, and pasture-raised. Unfortunately, there are no commercial suppliers of pasture-raised dried egg whites in the United States. We could purchase cage-free dried egg whites, but the best research available shows that raising cage-free chickens is actually worse for food safety and quality, animal welfare, and worker health and safety than raising conventional chickens. We understand that this may contradict what you have heard about cage-free vs conventional chickens, so we encourage you to do your own research.
Are the oats gluten free?
Yes, the oats are gluten-free. That said, we cannot guarantee that our products are safe for someone with a serious gluten allergy.
Do you use erythritol?
No, we do not use erythritol. We use pure monk fruit sweetener.
Is it organic?
We are a small business, and cannot afford to be 100% organic at this time. We already use a number of organic ingredients, however, and our goal is to be 100% organic as soon as possible.
