The Best Protein Powder Cake Recipe


-1 egg

1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

1/2 cup oat flour (or preferred flour)

-1/2 cup drink wholesome vegan vanilla protein powder 

-1/4 cup cocoa powder

-3/4 tsp baking powder

-1/4-3/4 cup dairy-free milk of choice

-¼ cup maple syrup


Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch cake pan. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the egg and Greek yogurt until smooth. Add the oat flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually add the milk, mixing slowly until you get a smooth cake batter. Transfer the protein batter to the prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool before frosting.

-2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

-½ cup drink wholesome chocolate protein powder

-⅓ cup yogurt 

-2 tablespoons milk of choice

-¼ cup powdered sugar

-½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: In a mixing bowl, add cocoa powder, protein powder, powder sugar and whisk to combine all the dry ingredients together. Stir in yogurt, almond milk, and vanilla extract. If too thick, whisk in more milk one teaspoon at a time until it reaches your preferred texture.
